Job summary

Astrea Academy Sheffield is seeking a committed Attendance Officer to join our supportive team and help every scholar thrive. You will monitor attendance patterns, investigate persistent absence, engage with families, and maintain accurate records and reporting systems.

You will work with academy leaders, pastoral teams and safeguarding colleagues to address attendance concerns swiftly and effectively, combining strong administrative skills with excellent interpersonal abilities and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in an attendance, pastoral, welfare or admin role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with scholars, parents and staff.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to analyse attendance data to identify trends.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of young people.

Responsibilities
