Job summary

Oasis Academy Broadoak is seeking an Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer to promote excellent attendance, monitor punctuality and support pupils and families to achieve the best outcomes.

You will collect and report attendance data, work with safeguarding concerns, and collaborate with academy staff to provide a safe, inclusive environment that supports student wellbeing and progress. Interviews are Wednesday 18th November 2026.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification and GCSEs in English and Maths (A–C).
• Experience in a school setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellent attendance and monitor punctuality across the academy.
• Collect, record, monitor and report attendance data and support pastoral work.
• Support safeguarding and liaise with families and other agencies as needed.

As a Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer , you will: Work alongside key academy staff to promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with pupils and families to promote high levels of attendance in the academy.The role involves collecting recording, monitoring and reporting data on attendance and punctuality and supporting pastoral work in support of pupils achieving the very best outcomes from their time at the academy.Work alongside key academy staff to support pupils and their families with low level safeguarding concerns and assist them in accessing relevant support from other agencies.What We’re Looking ForLevel 3 qualification and GCSEs in English & Maths (A–C).Experience in a school setting.Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills.A commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.Oasis Academy Broadoak is a values-driven, inclusive primary school committed to delivering exceptional education at the heart of the community.
