Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its team in Sheffield. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing ATM modules on-site, and maintaining equipment across an assigned territory. A valid UK driving license, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.

This position offers a 42.5-hour work week, potential weekend rota, and a company vehicle with fuel card. Full training provided and a comprehensive benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving license.
• Strong local geographical knowledge.
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair.
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance.
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace ATM modules on-site.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within a territory.
• Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies during tasks.
• Travel as required; lift and move toolkit/parts.
• Full training and equipment provided; company vehicle included.
