Job summary

Triathlon Scotland is seeking a full-time Pathway Coach to lead the Academy programme and advance the Scottish performance pathway. Based in Stirling, you will develop athletes and coaches, plan high-quality camps and race support, and collaborate with clubs, National Triathlon Centre and partners across the UK.

You will drive educational resources, mentoring and coach development, with regular evening/weekend duties and UK travel to enable athlete progression toward world-class opportunities.

Qualifications

  • British Triathlon Level 2/Group Coach or Level 2 qualification in a component discipline (swim/bike/run).
  • British Triathlon Level 3/Personal Coach (or willingness to work towards this).
  • Coach Developer qualification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a positive, ambitious and inclusive culture across the Scottish Performance Pathway.
  • Lead design, planning and delivery of the Triathlon Scotland Academy programme.
  • Provide coaching support to Academy Gold athletes and collaborate with existing coaches.
  • Build relationships with athletes, coaches and partners to strengthen the pathway.
  • Coordinate Academy activities, race support, travel, logistics and budgets.
