Job summary

Scottish Target Shooting is seeking a Pathway Coordinator to support the delivery of the Development Programme, coordinating squad activity, calendars, venues and communications. The role focuses on helping athletes navigate the pathway and progress through development environments into the Performance Programme.

The role is 3 days per week, primarily home-based, with optional access to the STS office and travel across Scotland for squad activities and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• This is a coordination role; no requirement to have a target shooting background.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery and administration of the STS Development Programme, including squad activity, training calendars, venues and logistics.
• Act as a key point of contact for Development Programme athletes, parents/guardians, coaches and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Development Coaches to plan and deliver squad activity.
• Support athlete applications, onboarding and reviews with timely information.
• Maintain links with clubs, regional posts and coaches to provide opportunities.
• Help athletes understand the STS Performance Pathway and progression routes.
• Support transitions from Stage 1/2 to Development Programme and on to Performance Programme.
• Maintain accurate athlete and programme records; monitor participation and progression.
• Gather feedback to identify gaps and opportunities; contribute to ongoing improvement.
