Job summary

Millbank Holdings is seeking an experienced Contract Project Engineer to support a blue-chip FMCG client at their Chirk site on a 12–18 month ATEX project programme. You will lead scopes to identify and reduce combustible dust hazards, improve site compliance and deliver practical engineering solutions across the process environment.

The role requires hands-on project engineering and strong ATEX knowledge, with responsibility for scope development, CAPEX estimates, budgets and stakeholder

Qualifications

• ATEX experience in process/manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to manage projects from scope to delivery.
• Strong understanding of ATEX principles and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead ATEX-related engineering projects across the site.
• Assess plant and processes to identify ATEX gaps and risks.
• Collaborate with operations, EHS and maintenance to implement solutions.
• Develop project scopes, budgets and CAPEX proposals.
• Manage projects through lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers as needed.
• Ensure safe, on-scope delivery within budget and timescales.
