Job summary

Holy Trinity Leicester seeks an Associate Vicar to join the Ministry Team on a full-time stipendiary basis, based at Holy Trinity, Leicester. The post will focus on leading work with young adults and families and will involve collaboration with the incumbent and staff team.

The ideal candidate will be Spirit-led, grounded in prayer and Scripture, gifted in preaching, teaching, discipleship and raising leaders, with breadth of experience in church leadership and mission.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading churches or faith-based teams.
• Ability to train and raise leaders within a ministry context.
• Gifts in preaching, teaching and disciple-making.

Job description

The Bishop is seeking to appoint an Associate Vicar to Holy Trinity Leicester.

This post will be appointed on a full-time stipendiary basis.

Holy Trinity Leicester (HTL) is a vibrant evangelical charismatic church situated in an inner-city parish with a population of approximately 6,500 people. There are around 750 people who identify HTL as their home church.
Holy Trinity is part of the Minster Community forming in partnership with St Christopher's, Leicester. The Associate Vicar will become part of the Ministry Team, based at Holy Trinity, working within the staff team there and taking particular responsibility in leading work with young adults and families.

To this end we seek a person who:

• Will be a leader whose life and ministry is Spirit-led, grounded in prayer and scripture, with a love for the lost and God's people.
• Is gifted in preaching, teaching, discipleship and raising leaders.
• Has a breadth of experience in church leadership and mission.
• Is able to initiate and develop ideas and plans by themselves and in collaboration with others.
• Will work together with the incumbent in leading and being part of teams, including the senior leadership team.
