Job summary

St Albans Diocese in the Chilterns invites a full-time stipendiary priest to nurture our three rural parishes. You will lead worship across traditional and relaxed styles, preach to all ages, and model thoughtful ministry within a supportive team.

We offer a four-bedroom vicarage and strong parish backing, with close collaboration across schools and families. The appointment is subject to enhanced disclosure, with interviews in October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship across the three parishes, adapting styles as needed.
• Preach and teach the Gospel to a diverse congregation across ages and backgrounds.
• Provide leadership within the ministry team and supportive PCCs.
• Engage actively with village Church of England Schools and families to nurture faith.
• Support pastoral care and community outreach across the parishes.
