Talent Motion is seeking an Associate level Vertical Transportation Consultant to join a leading engineering services team in the UK. You will provide technical support on VT systems, conduct audits and due diligence, and help deliver term consultancy projects for a varied client base.

The role offers an attractive package including a bonus around 15%, a pension of about 12%, health cover, and 25 days holiday. You will work with Chartered engineers across VT and related disciplines.

Qualifications

• VT systems expertise (lifts, escalators, moving walkways) required.
• Experience conducting Term Consultancy, audits, due diligence, life cycle costing and compliance assessments.
• Ability to plan and manage resources and budgets for VT projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise on Vertical Transportation systems.
• Conduct Term Consultancy and Vertical Transportation Audits, Condition Surveys, Technical Reviews, Dilapidation Surveys, Technical Due Diligence, Life Cycle Costing, Compliance Assessments.
• Build and maintain understanding of existing and target clients (predominately internal).
• Contribute to resource planning and management discussions in own area.
• Plan, prioritise and resource own work effectively to meet client needs and budgets.
• Provide support in tender services, Vertical Transportation Design and Traffic Analysis, Project Management and Contract Administration, CDM Duties, Acceptance and Witness Testing.

Tailoring their expert advice and solutions to suit their clients’ needs and aim to enhance their operational strategy, promote their sustainability credentials, and add value to their assets.

We are looking for an Associate level Vertical Transportation Consultant to undertake the following:

• Provide technical support and expertise on Vertical Transportation systems, including lifts, escalators, incline lifts, moving walkways, platforms, cradles, and building management units
• Conduct Term Consultancy and Vertical Transportation Audits, Condition Surveys, Technical Reviews, Dilapidation Surveys, Technical Due Diligence, Life Cycle Costing, Compliance Assessments
• Building and maintaining a deep understanding of existing and target clients (predominately internal)
• Contributing to resource planning and management discussions in own area
• Planning, prioritising and resourcing own work effectively to meet client needs and budgets
• Provide support in tender services, Vertical Transportation Design and Traffic Analysis, Project Management and Contract Administration, CDM Duties, Acceptance and Witness Testing
