As an Associate Ecologist, you will join our team of over 50 ecologists, who have more than 30 years of experience undertaking ecological surveys and assessments, as well as providing advice on soil, land use, hydrological and sustainable drainage issues, arboriculture, ecosystem services, natural capital assessment, biodiversity strategies and metrics, and cultural heritage. We have undertaken over 2,000 projects covering a wide range of environmental disciplines throughout the UK, in Europe, and beyond, for public and private clients.
Currently, we are engaged on a variety of large projects, including urban and greenfield residential development, highway and rail schemes, power stations, electrical and gas infrastructure, working for clients such as EDF Energy, Welsh Government, Transport for Wales, Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, Natural Resources Wales, the Environment Agency, Transport for London, Highways England, Network Rail, the Canal and River Trust, housing associations, and local authorities. We are also involved in international work through environmental, social, and health impact assessments and our natural capital community of practice.
As part of our environmental team, you'll help improve quality of life. Your expertise in environmental management, technical or sustainability fields could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality, or noise, in some of the world's busiest and most beautiful locations.
We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. Addressing climate change, urbanization, and biodiversity loss, we aim to mitigate large-scale events such as floods and wildfires.
As an Associate Technical Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing project delivery to meet time, budget, and SHEQ targets, managing ecological aspects of client relationships to exceed expectations. You will lead projects and teams, providing technical advice and setting an example.
We offer personal development opportunities, mentorship from industry-recognized technical leaders, and training to help you succeed.
