Job summary

Oakfield Primary Academy is looking for enthusiastic Associate Teachers with SEN experience to join our supportive team. The role may be part-time or full-time; please indicate your preferred hours on application.

Based on 32.5 hours/week, 38 weeks/year, term-time only, the full-time Kent Scheme A salary is £26,168 (Sept 2026), pro-rata to £19,610.33. We value collaboration, high expectations, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Able to contribute to, and work as part of a team.
• Ideally experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions.
• Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential.
• Hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent.
• Committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour.
• Excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

Oakfield Primary Academy is looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Associate Teachers with relevant SEN experience to join our talented and supportive team!

Based on working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The full-time salary is paid at Kent Scheme A, £26,168 (September 2026 pay), pro-rata to an actual salary of £19,610.33.
