Job summary

TECHOHANA is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS provider to hire an Associate Systems Engineer in Belfast. You will gain hands-on exposure to Linux, Windows, virtualization, and AWS while supporting a 24/7 global trading platform.

You’ll be the first responder on breakages, triaging tickets, investigating login and MFA issues, and helping maintain the health of the virtualization environment under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of Linux and/or Windows Server fundamentals.
• A logical, step-by-step approach to troubleshooting under pressure.
• Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, or OpenShift Virt.
• Some scripting exposure or curiosity, Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with AWS or cloud infrastructure concepts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact when something breaks; triage tickets.
• Investigate login and MFA issues.
• Monitor health of the virtualization environment.
• Follow the playbook for routine issues and fixes.
