Job summary
Trading Technologies International is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join its Global Operations team. You will be the first responder for triage and initial resolution of break-fix tickets on a high-performance SaaS trading platform, focusing on Linux/Windows, virtualization, and AWS in a mission-critical environment.
The role involves 24/5 rotation with 8-hour shifts, hybrid in-office and remote work, and ongoing SOP execution to maintain platform stability.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or relevant certification in Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms and concepts (VMware, Nutanix, OpenShift Virt).
- General familiarity with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and follow structured procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1–2 support and triage for Linux/Windows, AWS instances and hardware.
- Diagnose authentication and MFA failures in a global hybrid environment.
- Troubleshoot global virtualization environments to maintain uptime.
- Monitor health checks of compute and storage services.
- Execute SOPs for access requests, provisioning and hardware status checks.
- Escalate complex issues to Dispatch Lead or Senior Engineers.
