Job summary

Penguin Recruitment seeks an Associate Structural Engineer to lead UK projects in a senior capacity. You will drive delivery from concept to completion, mentor engineering teams, and nurture client relationships while aligning with strategic goals of a growing consultancy.

You bring Chartered status, strong design skills across concrete, steel, timber and masonry, and a solid track record in UK regulations. This role offers a pathway to influence and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering and Chartered status required.
• Significant post‑qualification UKStructural experience expected.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from concept to completion.
• Mentor engineers and technicians across levels.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Review calculations, drawings and specifications for quality.
• Support business development and fee proposals.
