Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc seeks a Stock and Quality administrator to join the team at Chorley (PR7 7DW). This permanent, full-time role supports stock accuracy and the delivery promise of “Right first time” for customers.

The day-to-day includes processing stock, audits, and reporting, with SAP experience and strong communication essential. Working hours are 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, in a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work within a fast paced environment.
• Good PC knowledge (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to work closely with senior management, internal and external stakeholders.
• To adhere to GXO health and Safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust systems bins to ensure accuracy.
• Process returned stock in an accurate and timely manner, including customer credits/debits and quality inspection for damages.
• Update weekly and monthly reports to provide visibility of stock management for the customer.
• Monitor and work on the resolution of any damaged stock.
• Dealing with haulier claims.
• Complete audits/inventory counts including buffers/external storage sites.
• Carry out stock check and cycle counts as required, reporting shortages, damage or variances.

This is a critical role in ensuring that all stock is accurately maintained to ensure that our promise of ‘Right first time’ is delivered to all customers.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday between the hours of 08:00-16:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
