Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring for a stock control role to ensure stock is accurately maintained so we deliver our promise of “Right first time” to customers.

You will monitor and adjust system bins, process returned stock with checks for damages, and update weekly/monthly stock reports for clear customer visibility. The role involves audits, cycle counts, and liaising with internal/external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good PC knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work within a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work closely with senior management, internal and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to GXO health and Safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust systems bins to ensure stock accuracy.
• Process returned stock accurately, including customer credits/debits and quality inspection for damages.
• Update weekly and monthly stock reports for customer visibility.
• Monitor and resolve damaged stock and liaise on haulier claims.
• Conduct audits/inventory counts including buffers and external storage sites.
• Carry out stock checks and cycle counts; report shortages or variances.

Job description

This is a critical role in ensuring that all stock is accurately maintained to ensure that our promise of 'Right first time' is delivered to all customers.

• Monitor and adjust systems bins to ensure accuracy
• Process returned stock in an accurate and timely manner, including customer credits/debits and quality inspection for damages
• Update weekly and monthly reports to provide visibility of stock management for the customer
• Monitor and work on the resolution of any damaged stock
• Dealing with haulier claims
• Complete audits/inventory counts including buffers/external storage sites
• Carry out stock check and cycle counts as required, reporting shortages, damage or variances
• Experience in SAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work within a fast paced environment
• Good PC knowledge (word, excel and outlook)
• Ability to work closely with senior management, internal and external stakeholders
• To adhere to GXO health and Safety policy

This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between the hours of 08:00-16:00.
