Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Sales Support Representative in Manchester to partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales. You will address inquiries, develop proposals and support sales growth by using data to forecast and improve opportunity pipelines.

• Manage proposals throughout the bid cycle, including workload tracking and follow-up.
• Support tactical quotes, strategic offerings and win-back opportunities.
• Partner with site hubs and product teams to improve quotation speed and quality.
• Use knowledge of pump applications to recommend solutions.
• Support sales forecasting, monthly outlooks and analytics.
• Maintain organized sales records and reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership on continuous-improvement initiatives.

The Sales Support Representative is the primary customer contact, partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to address inquiries, develop proposals, and support sales growth. This role uses sales data to improve forecasting, reporting, productivity, and opportunity pipeline performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive, customer-focused support in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Coordinate aftermarket quotations and produce accurate, timely, value-priced proposals.
• Review customer specifications and apply Flowserve technical and commercial requirements.
• Manage proposals throughout the bid cycle, including workload tracking, follow-up, and hit-rate improvement.
• Support tactical quotes, strategic offerings, and win-back opportunities.
• Partner with site hubs and product teams to improve quotation speed, delivery lead times, prioritization, and quality.
• Use knowledge of pump applications, parts, programs, and processes to recommend effective customer solutions.
• Support sales forecasting, monthly outlooks, quarterly business reviews, and performance analytics.
• Maintain organized sales records, training information, organizational charts, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership on continuous-improvement initiatives and key performance actions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience in sales or customer service within engineered manufacturing; contract administration experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical seals, pumps, rotating equipment, power generation, or utility markets.
• Experience with SAP S4Hana, Salesforce, CRM systems, pricing, contract review, and ERP administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or 0–2 years of relevant experience.
