Job summary

Norwich University of the Arts is seeking a talented printmaker to join the Technical Services team as an Associate Technician. You will support students using professional printmaking equipment and contribute to the day-to-day running of the print studios, while assisting teaching, learning and research activities across the university.

With experience in screenprint, drypoint, linocut and monoprint, you will bring strong knowledge of printmaking materials, equipment and workshop practices,

Qualifications

• Experience with traditional and contemporary printmaking processes including screenprint, drypoint, linocut and monoprint.
• Strong knowledge of printmaking materials, equipment and workshop practices.
• Ability to prepare artwork for print production using Photoshop and other software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to students in the printmaking studios.
• Support day-to-day operation of studios and teaching, learning and research activities.
• Promote safe working practices and help students develop confidence in printmaking techniques.
