Job summary

Your World is seeking a Biomedical Science Associate Practitioner - Histology for a locum position in Bath. The role offers hourly pay between £18 and £22, with start and end dates set for a temporary period, and requires UK laboratory experience.

The successful candidate will perform embedding, sectioning and staining tasks to support histology operations, with on-site work and a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Associate Practitioner - Histology.
• Payable on a locum basis with pay £18.00 - £22.00 per hour.
• Relevant UK laboratory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform embedding and tissue processing tasks.
• Carry out microtome sectioning at approximately 20–25 blocks per hour.
• Apply special stains as required for histology work.

This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Associate Practitioner - Histology to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £18.00 - £22.00 P/H.

Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this AP role include the following:

• Special stains
• Embedding
• Microtome / Cutting sections (20-25 blocks an hour)
• Biomedical Science Background

This role requires prior experience in a UK-based laboratory relevant to the post
