Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a Biomedical Science Locum (BMS) in Central London to start immediately. The role is a full locum contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, paying £32-£35 per hour.

HCPC registration and a Biomedical Science background are required, with UK laboratory experience preferred. The candidate will perform histology duties including embedding, microtomy, and staining, with emphasis on quality control and meeting NHS/government framework standards.

Qualifications

• UK-based laboratory experience required.
• HCPC registration required.
• Histology skills including embedding, microtomy and staining.
• Biomedical Science background necessary.
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Carry out histology duties including embedding, microtomy and cutting sections.
• Perform special stains and quality control.
• Ensure work adheres to NHS/government framework standards.
• Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
