We are seeking an Associate Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join the Sensory and Occupational Therapy Service, supporting the Experts at Hand model across schools in Hull. The role offers supervision and development opportunities in a supportive team environment, contributing to improved outcomes for children and young people.

The post holder will deliver training, group work, consultations and promote sensory-informed approaches within educational settings, while supporting service

Competenze

• Knowledge of local and national drivers/legislation affecting the service area.
• Experience in a healthcare setting and delivering occupational therapy interventions as delegated.
• Experience facilitating individual and group interventions.
• Experience with occupational therapy assessments.

Mansioni

• Support the delivery and development of the Experts at Hand service across Hull schools.
• Work under supervision to provide advice, training and practical support to education staff.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops and group programmes for staff, parents and carers.
• Support schools to implement sensory and participation-focused strategies for inclusion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with education settings and partner agencies.
• Contribute to data collection, outcome monitoring, audits and resource development.
