Job summary

Hull NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work across schools in Hull within the Sensory Processing Service. The role involves collaboration with education staff to promote participation, inclusion and independence for children in school settings, using consulting, coaching and training to support sensory processing, handwriting and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of evidence-based occupational therapy within the service area.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary and multi-agency team.
• Be a positive role model for all staff.
• Ensure patient documentation is accurate, maintaining complete and contemporaneous records in line with HCPC, RCOT, and Trust standards.
• Autonomous practice and ensure effective patient care.
• Attend Band 5 meetings, CPD opportunities, and reflective practice.
• Engage with the Trust Preceptorship Academy.
