Job summary

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Team Leader Occupational Therapist to drive the Experts at Hand model across Hull schools. The role blends operational and clinical leadership with expert OT practice to support inclusive education.

You will provide consultation, training and coaching to education staff, promoting participation and self-care for children and young people, through a whole-school approach and partnership working.

Qualifications

• Live register or equivalent professional registration relevant to the post
• Postgraduate degree or equivalent or demonstrable knowledge in service development and staff leadership
• Full understanding/application of clinical practice standards and audit within community services

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care aligned with NHS guidance and professional standards
• Handle day-to-day operational management of clinical staff in the Experts at Hand pathway
• Lead service development and collaborate with partners across health, education and local authorities
• Continuously evaluate clinical effectiveness using evidence-based practice and outcomes
