Role description:

Play a key role in delivering tech sector mega-projects.

We are looking for an experienced Associate MEP Cost Consultant to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in leading the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics.

The successful candidate will be based either 100% in the country or will have significant international travel to Norway or Finland (50/50 rotation - 1 week in country/ 1 week at home/office).

Role accountabilities:

  • Managing large projects or complex work streams, delivering defined outputs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Line management responsibility for the development and performance management of other team members to support the development of Arcadis’ business.
  • Supervising teams of Cost and Commercial Specialists on multiple projects.
  • Acting as primary client contact for all cost and commercial related reporting and quality assurance.
  • Reviewing team work outputs before submission to client and external groups.
  • Maintaining a clear understanding of the client’s key objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with contracts regarding project delivery parameters and scope of service.
  • Using industry best practices to support the development of cost and commercial management systems and processes.
  • Working to continually improve services and drive innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

You should share our passion for improving the quality of life, take pride in transforming the world around you, and value teamwork. You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., RICS, AACE, or similar).
  • Extensive experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of construction processes and cost & commercial management.
  • Experience leading smaller projects and supporting larger, complex projects.
  • Experience delivering analysis and insights.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders to build client relationships.
  • Experience managing business relationships and supporting middle management activities.
