Description

The Associate Medical Strategy Director will lead the implementation of medical strategies, ensuring scientific rigor and strategic differentiation. As a key member of the leadership team, they will collaborate across disciplines, support business growth, and elevate the profile of medical strategy within the agency.

Responsibilities
Knowledge/Expertise
  • Apply disease state knowledge, clinical expertise, and strategic skills to inform brand strategies.
Strategic Skills/Tools
  • Integrate scientific understanding with market insights to develop communication plans.
  • Assist the Director of Medical Strategy in delivering departmental strategic initiatives.
Client Relationships
  • Meet client needs and deliverables effectively.
  • Participate in brand planning and lead scientific workshops and projects.
  • Represent medical strategy in client workshops.
Business Development
  • Contribute to new business efforts by leading medical strategy in pitches.
Communication Skills
  • Present confidently to internal teams, clients, and KOLs.
  • Build collaborative relationships across disciplines and management levels.
  • Provide effective leadership, training, and performance management for direct reports.
Requirements
  • PhD preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in medical strategy within healthcare advertising.
