Job summary

Tetra Tech are recruiting an Associate Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer for their Building Services team in the UK, with openings in Birmingham or Leicester. You will lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage client relationships on high-profile building services projects.

Role focuses on delivering detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings, while promoting sustainable design. Hybrid working options are available, and development toward chartership is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
• Proven experience delivering building services projects within a consultancy environment.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Commercial awareness and experience with project cost control.
• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Dialux, Relux.
• Full UK driving licence.
