Job summary

Tetra Tech is expanding its Building Services team in Leicester with an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver building services projects across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working on building services projects within a consultancy or contractor environment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux, and Amtech.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design of electrical systems from concept through to completion
• Producing design calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
• Supporting senior engineers with site surveys and construction stage duties
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines
• Ensuring designs comply with current regulations and sustainability standards
• Participating in project meetings and contributing to technical discussions
• Developing your skills with support from senior engineers and mentors

Your new role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of building services projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality electrical engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
