Job summary

Deutsche Bank is seeking an Associate for the Industrials/Business Services coverage & Advisory team in London. You will perform transaction execution, assist with origination, and engage in client meetings while contributing to market intelligence and M&A advice.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and extensive investment banking experience, with a focus on client-facing work and strong financial skills. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in Investment Banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and corporate finance.
• Strong technical skills in financial analysis, modelling and valuations.

Responsibilities

• Transaction execution including day-to-day project & process management, financial modelling, structuring, due diligence, documentation, and management of legal and accounting workstreams, working with both public and private companies
• Assisting senior team members with origination of new business, including identification of target opportunities and assisting with the preparation of presentations for clients, investors, and the broader investment community and responsible for responding to client-specific requests
• Communicating with clients, advisers, and senior investment bankers, including participation in client meetings and events in both origination and execution projects
• Working with retained United Kingdom listed advisory clients, providing market intelligence alongside broader strategic and M&A advice
• Preparing complex financial analysis. Developing knowledge and coverage of certain subsectors and geographies within the industry remit of the team
• Assisting with sector projects, initiatives, and responsibilities, working towards revenue requirements determined by the business and managing and mentoring of team members
