Job summary
Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking an Associate Hydrogeologist to lead hydrogeology and water environment projects across infrastructure, renewables, power, industrial and built environment sectors. You will take responsibility for project delivery, work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and support the development of less experienced colleagues.
Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available.
Qualifications
- Substantial UK hydrogeology or water environment experience.
- Strong hydrogeological assessment and water monitoring experience.
- Knowledge of UK water legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership.
Responsibilities
- Leading hydrogeological assessments, investigations and monitoring programmes.
- Preparing and reviewing EIA water chapters.
- Water environment assessments, abstraction licensing and groundwater permitting.
- Technical analysis, interpretation and reporting.
- Managing client relationships and supporting proposals.
- Leading multidisciplinary project delivery.
- Mentoring and developing scientists and hydrogeologists.
