Qualifications

• Degree qualification in electrical engineering.
• 10+ years UK experience in electrical design for building services.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Knowledge of British Standards and codes of practice.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on complex UK and international projects across sectors.
• Deliver electrical design solutions in line with British Standards and codes.
• Produce detailed electrical designs and specifications.
• Perform detailed calculations and simulations to verify designs.
• Attend site visits and meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide their development.
• Maintain knowledge of current electrical design technologies.
