Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Building Services team in Maidenhead. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver demanding large-scale UK projects and potentially overseas.

The role requires a degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field, with professional qualification (CIBSE/IET) or progress toward it, and extensive experience in electrical design, project management, and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Professional qualification with CIBSE or IET (or working towards).
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Clash Detection, Dialux and Amtech.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role with strong project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 and UK Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detail design and specification of LV electrical installations and distribution systems.
• Specify switchgear, transformers and cabling.
• Prepare feasibility, concept design and implementation studies.
• Produce design documentation including specifications, models, drawings, calculations.
• Develop relationships with clients and key suppliers.
• Attend design and site meetings; manage workload.
• Mentor other engineers and check work.
• Support work winning and business development.
• Assume job manager responsibilities and ensure delivery with delivery teams.
