Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Shoreditch, London. You will lead and coordinate a broad portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality and compliance with ISO 9001 standards, while acting as a central point of contact for clients and collaborators.

You will develop senior-level relationships, contribute to bid proposals, and support business development activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive track record coordinating and delivering projects in public and private sector.
• Solid understanding of contractual procedures.
• Solid experience in mechanical design.
• Proven track record engaging with senior management and peers on projects.
• Proven track record influencing peers outside formal management relationships.
• Commitment to implementing consistent standards and metrics.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to prioritise and think strategically about delivery timing.
• Experience with resource planning and budgeting awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan efforts/workload of project team and accept line management responsibilities.
• Oversee overall engineering including reports, specifications and chairing design meetings/reviews.
• Demonstrate understanding of other disciplines and maintain client relationships.
• Contribute to business development by leveraging contacts to secure new work.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and design team; address feedback and issues promptly.
• Coordinate delivery against ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead and coordinate delivery of multiple projects and manage cost/resource planning.
