Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a specialist team delivering data centre and mission-critical projects in the UK and Europe. You will work with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams from feasibility through to commissioning.

The role focuses on resilient power infrastructure, critical electrical systems and high-density computing environments, with opportunities to lead design work and mentor juniors.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• Several years of experience in electrical building services design.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution and building services systems.
• Experience with BIM environments and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for defined electrical engineering packages and contribute to successful delivery of wider project designs.
• Develop and coordinate electrical designs through concept, developed design and detailed design stages.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications, schedules and reports.
• Design and coordinate LV distribution, UPS, generators and critical power infrastructure.
