Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering technically diverse projects in Winchester. The role spans high-rise residential, commercial fit out, healthcare, defence, retail and large-scale developments.

You will deliver electrical design solutions, collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams, and support the project lifecycle from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Experience in electrical design within consultancy or contractor environment
• Proficient in Amtech, Dialux or Relux and CAD; Revit desirable
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Working towards chartered status or keen to progress

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design calculations using Amtech, Dialux and Relux
• Deliver designs using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
• Attend client and project meetings, presenting design solutions
• Undertake condition surveys and technical assessments
• Carry out third-party design reviews
• Support project delivery from inception through to completion
• Contribute to site monitoring and oversee installation works

Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Winchester with Hybrid Working

Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering team delivering a wide range of technically diverse projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking to work across varied and high-profile schemes, gaining exposure to sectors including high-rise residential, commercial fit out, healthcare, defence, retail and large-scale developments.

You will play a key role in delivering electrical design solutions while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle.

The Role

Produce electrical design calculations using software such as Amtech, Dialux and Relux Deliver designs using CAD and BIM tools including Revit Attend client and project meetings, presenting design solutions Undertake condition surveys and technical assessments Carry out third-party design reviews Support project delivery from inception through to completion Contribute to site monitoring and oversee installation works

About You

Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering Experience in electrical design within consultancy or contractor environment Working towards chartered status or keen to progress Strong experience with design software including Amtech, Dialux or similar Proficient in CAD and ideally Revit Strong communication and presentation skills Motivated, organised and keen to develop
