Job summary

Park Personnel is assisting a respected Jersey legal services firm to appoint an Associate in its established Dispute Resolution department. You will manage your own caseload on a varied range of disputes and contribute to business development from day one.

The opportunity is ideal for a Jersey Advocate (or Écrivain soon to qualify) with a strong litigation background and a commercially minded approach. Expect autonomy and a collaborative culture in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Jersey Advocate with up to 3 years PQE (candidates with more experience will also be considered).
• Or a Jersey Écrivain due to qualify as an Advocate in the near future.
• Strong litigation background gained in Jersey or another recognised jurisdiction.

We're working with a respected legal services firm in Jersey that is looking to appoint an Associate to join its established Dispute Resolution department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Jersey Advocate (or an Écrivain due to qualify) seeking a varied litigation practice with genuine responsibility from day one.

The Opportunity

You'll manage your own caseload while supporting on complex, high-value matters across a broad range of disputes, including:

• Commercial and contractual disputes
• Contentious trust matters
• Estate and probate disputes
• Construction and building disputes
• Personal injury and clinical negligence claims

You'll work closely with senior leadership, take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives and play an active role in mentoring junior colleagues.

About You

• Jersey Advocate with up to 3 years PQE (candidates with more experience will also be considered)
• Or a Jersey Écrivain due to qualify as an Advocate in the near future
• Strong litigation background gained in Jersey or another recognised jurisdiction
• Technically strong with excellent advocacy and client management skills
• Commercially minded with a genuine passion for dispute resolution
