Position

As an Associate Director of Flood Civil Engineering, you will lead our team in developing, implementing, and overseeing flood control and water management projects. You will bring your expertise to drive project success, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth of our firm. This position can be based in Ireland or any of our UK offices.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead project teams to deliver quality services to clients.
• Manage challenging and diverse workloads.
• Ensure project deadlines within a Quality Management System.
• Manage projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Promote professional advice, guidance, and support across the business.
• Participate in business development, including tender submissions and identifying new market opportunities.
• Represent Ayesa professionally.
• Ensure compliance with Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS).

Requirements

• Honours degree in Civil Engineering (QII Level 8 minimum, Level 9 preferred).
• At least 8 years post-graduate experience in flood risk management or drainage (exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered).
• Experience in delivering flood relief or water-related services, including client management and contract administration.
• Knowledge of local legislation, design standards, and planning processes is advantageous.
