About the Role:

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Associate Director to join a leading real estate valuation team with a growing presence in the affordable housing sector. This hybrid role, based in Central London, will focus on delivering high-quality valuation advice for affordable housing and social living portfolios, working with a diverse range of institutional investors and lending clients.

This role offers strong career development within a niche and expanding team, backed by a nationwide advisory platform. With a focus on For-Profit Registered Providers and private sector clients, this team is a key growth area and provides exposure to a range of exciting valuation mandates and data-led client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely valuations for purposes including loan security, accounting, investment, and fund reporting.
  • Lead on valuation projects and support in preparing high-quality reports, analysis, and property inspections.
  • Take ownership of initial valuation panelling and data quality assurance.
  • Manage large datasets and carry out valuation modelling (including DCF).
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members and assist in managing deliverables from overseas support teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain standards and drive innovation in reporting and modelling.
  • Act as a key client contact, ensuring consistent delivery of service excellence.
  • Support senior leadership with business development initiatives including RFPs and pitch preparation.
  • Maintain compliance with risk and quality assurance protocols.
  • Contribute to wider departmental initiatives and support cross-sector collaboration.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualification (or equivalent) with relevant post-qualified experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading on valuation projects within residential or affordable housing sectors.
  • Strong skills in Excel and preferably Argus Developer.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple valuations simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.
