Qualifications

• BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Chartered status with MICE or MIStructE is essential.
• Approximately 10+ years of post-graduate UK experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK codes and standards.
• Experience managing fees, resources and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of structural engineering services on high‑volume residential projects and other sectors.
• Act as senior technical lead, provide design oversight and QA.
• Mentor less senior engineers and technicians through peer reviews.
• Manage fee agreements, scope changes and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with other professional teams and subconsultants.
• Develop fee proposals and build relationships with clients.
