Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Environmental Consents nationwide team. You will lead environmental design, assessment and management across energy projects, guiding multidisciplinary inputs from conception to delivery for a diverse client base.

You will recruit, bid, manage project teams, and drive financial performance while expanding our water sector offerings, building client relationships, and promoting sustainable design.

Qualifications

• Relevant environmental/planning degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience in EIA delivery for major water schemes.
• Familiarity with Habitats Regulations Assessments and other consenting processes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop environmental teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental teams and inputs to project designs and assessments across multiple sectors.
• Direct recruitment, bidding, project team management, project delivery and financial management.
• Expand the water sector offer by working with sector leads and client managers to win new business.
• Provide environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues.
• Develop proposals for complex opportunities and lead strategic bids and frameworks.
