Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy to lead delivery on renewable energy civil projects across the UK, Ireland and Europe. The role focuses on developing engineering capabilities, managing client relationships and overseeing design from feasibility to construction supervision.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, review technical/contractual information, and act as Lead Verifier on key projects, while mentoring graduates and progressing team

Qualifications

BEng (Hons) degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
Chartered status or working towards chartership is expected.
Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead project delivery for renewable energy civil engineering projects.
Develop and maintain client relationships and grow the team’s technical capabilities.
Review and generate technical and contractual information from internal and external sources.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary design of renewable energy infrastructure.
Respond to technical queries raised by project teams.
Act as Lead Verifier on projects including technical feasibility studies and design reports.
Direct and mentor graduate engineers.
