Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Civil Engineer for Renewable Energy to lead delivery on UK and international projects. You will oversee technical and contractual aspects, drive client relationships, and grow the team’s capabilities within our energy division.

Responsibilities include leading multi-disciplinary design, reviewing feasibility studies, and mentoring graduates while ensuring projects meet schedule and budget targets.

Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• CDAE certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects within energy sector, UK and beyond.
• Liaise with clients, manage day-to-day work within timescales and budgets.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design of renewable energy infrastructure.
• Review technical and contractual information from internal and external sources.
• Act as Lead Verifier on projects including feasibility studies and design reports.
• Direct staff and mentor graduate engineers.
