Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy to lead major projects within our expanding energy team. You will oversee technical design, client relationships, and delivery across the UK, Ireland, and Europe while developing and mentoring staff to grow the team’s capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have a strong civil/structural background in energy systems, and experience with offshore wind, hydro, grid connections, and energy storage infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership is desirable.
• CDAE certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery on renewable energy civil works.
• Mentor graduate engineers and direct staff.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design with clients and internal teams.
• Review technical and contractual information from internal and external sources.
