Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking Associate Directors to join the Central and Local Government Real Estate team in the UK. You will lead and manage large, complex projects for public sector clients and work with market-leading teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in construction, real estate, planning or engineering.
• Experience leading large-scale projects in public sector.
• Ability to travel London/Home Counties/South East.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• CDM and site health and safety knowledge.
• Experience with stakeholders and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing project strategies, plans and budgets.
• Leading on residential-led or mixed-use projects, at the enabling stage (could include highways, utilities, enabling works, remediation, public realm, bridges, utility diversions or upgrades, managing S106 or S278 obligations)
• Establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicators
• Managing and mitigating risks and issues
• Preparing and delivering written project communication materials
• Preparing and presenting formal project progress and other reports
• Managing and coordinating the client, contractors and designers
• Attending and chairing meetings and drafting minutes, etc
