Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Cambridge is seeking an Associate Director to join our Real Estate Project Management Team. You will lead the delivery of complex real estate projects across sectors, ensuring that client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, cost and quality.

The role requires 8 years’ experience in real estate project management, a degree in a related discipline, and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in relevant construction, real estate or project management discipline.
• 8 years’ experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required
• Excellent communication skills, in person and written
• Professional membership desirable, such as RICS, PMI, or CIOB

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of complex real estate projects to meet client objectives and deliver on time, cost and quality.
• Act as the day-to-day client interface ensuring objectives and targets are met.
• Advise at the strategic level at project conception, including different approaches to achieve client objectives.
• Establish overall success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Plan for and manage ongoing quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Establish project governance, processes and systems for use throughout the project.
• Produce and maintain the detailed project plan and monitor performance using KPIs.
• Manage the change control process and project finances.
• Ensure timely production of formal project progress and other reports.
• Lead marketing and business development activities, including pursuing new opportunities and participating in client pitches.
