My client is seeking a vibrant and commercially astute Associate Building Surveyor to join their Leeds team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated MRICS building surveyor who thrives in a client-facing role and wants to help drive the success and growth of a global consultancy. You will support the team in delivering high-quality instructions across various building surveying disciplines, including commercial projects and professional services, ensuring excellent service delivery aligned with client expectations and business strategy. With a strong growth culture, there are opportunities to progress your career up to Director level within three years.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a comprehensive range of building surveying services, including professional and project-based instructions.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all instructions.
Contribute to business development, aligning delivery with strategic growth targets.
Support, mentor, and guide junior surveyors to build team capability and expertise.
Maintain compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and best practices.
About You
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience within a building consultancy, preferably focused on the commercial or private sector. At least two years PQE MRICS is essential due to client requirements. Our client values a personal management style, being a smaller team within a global firm, ideal for someone looking to excel and specialize within the sector while receiving competitive salaries and bonuses. Bonuses are a percentage of your salary, paid annually, and have been met each year for the last five years.
