Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director inElectrical Engineering, you'll play a vital role in every aspect ofelectrical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UKinfrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineeringprojects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects ofelectrical engineering, within multiple challenging and engagingsectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Developmentand Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineeringsolutions right through the project lifecycle, with value addedthrough client-side support as well as construction phases. We currently have opportunities inour Leeds office.
Your Purpose:
- Own anddirect teams who undertake technical design work following relevantdesign standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bidproposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to keyproject milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teamsin the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Setting quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop and manage electrical engineering capabilitywithin the practice.
What you can bring:- Chartered Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, includingmultidisciplinary design.
- Comprehensive knowledge ofelectrical design (LV and HV systems), motor controlcentres/switchgear, electrical installations and systems withinindustrial/process environment, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEXinstallation practice, production of SLD/BCD's, earthing and bondingand familiarity with current UK design standards, including industryspecific standards and working practices.
