About The Role

Currie & Brown is a leading international consultancy specializing in physical asset management and construction. We advise clients worldwide across various sectors, distinguished by our people, innovation, and global presence.

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our project and programme management team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to grow into a future leader, and committed to delivering high standards of service, successful client outcomes, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing full consultant teams to deliver construction projects for clients
  • Leading and expanding the Leeds project management team
  • Planning and monitoring project performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Applying and overseeing project control and administration systems in line with company standards
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring requirements and approvals are met
  • Managing end-to-end project execution, defining goals, roles, and deliverables
  • Ensuring integration of design, construction, and commissioning processes
  • Managing change control processes towards successful project completion
  • Reporting on project cost, schedule, safety, and performance

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Professional membership (chartered or incorporated status)
  • Experience managing new-build, fit-out, or refurbishment projects, especially in commercial sectors including retail, infrastructure, residential, healthcare, etc.
  • Experience across all project delivery stages
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly APM
  • Ability to independently manage projects with minimal support
  • Experience with JCT or NEC contracts
