Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner to join our Birmingham, Shrewsbury or Nottingham Landscape & Urban Design team. You will lead on LVIA work, design projects through LI/RIBA stages, and help deliver urban realm developments within BIM Level 2 environments.

You will develop client relationships in public and private sectors, prepare bids, mentor juniors, and participate in internal groups driving innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Landscape Architecture.
• Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Landscape Architecture.
• Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience delivering landscape and urban design from concept to construction.
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead LVIA tasks and assessments.
• Lead design projects through LI/RIBA stages in BIM Level 2.
• Develop client relationships across public and private sectors.
• Prepare bids for small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Client-facing workshops and stakeholder events.
• Join internal multi-disciplinary groups promoting innovation.
