Job summary

WSP is seeking an Assistant Landscape Architect & Landscape Planners to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. The role supports project delivery across the UK, helping produce technical landscape information and liaising with clients.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Landscape Architecture, related postgraduate qualification, and experience in LVIA/TVIA and urban design. The role offers a hybrid work pattern across the UK offices.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects desirable.
• Experience of managing landscape design during the construction phase desirable.
• Excellent technical skills with Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Being an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious and friendly team.
• Supporting delivery of specific tasks within projects.
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects.
• Include LVIA/TVIA, sketches and detailed design, schedules and specifications to support planning.
• Tender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspections.
• Client facing role, attending workshops and stakeholder events.
