Job summary

WSP is seeking qualified Landscape Architect and Landscape Planners to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. The successful candidate will work across the UK with a diverse, collaborative group, delivering landscape infrastructure, layout and design for planning applications and construction stages.

The role requires strong technical skills in LVIA/TVIA, adherence to project timelines, and client-facing collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience of managing landscape design during construction desirable.
• Excellent technical skills with Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage smaller projects and support delivery of tasks within larger projects.
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects.
• Conduct LVIA and TVIA studies for various projects.
• Design development including GA drawings, construction detailing, schedules and specs for planning.
• Support bids and client relations, attending workshops and stakeholder events.
• Lead and delegate work to junior team members.
